Electrician Cover Letter Example
Electrical contractors hire on license, work type, and safety record, in that order, and most read a cover letter only to answer those three questions faster than the resume does. Short and factual wins: license class in sentence one, the kind of work you've actually run, and the numbers that prove you're safe and productive.

Your posting mentions design-build work and leading small crews. On my current crew I run two apprentices, do my own layout from prints, and coordinate directly with GCs on schedule. My last three projects finished on or ahead of the electrical schedule, and I've gone six years without a recordable incident or a failed inspection on my rough-ins.
