The strong version reads like a good status update: certification and scope up top, two delivery proof points with budget and timeline numbers, one specific reason for this company, done.

Your posting centers on ERP rollouts with cross-functional teams, which is where I've spent the past four years: I led a 14-month NetSuite implementation across finance, warehouse, and sales teams (60+ stakeholders), landing two weeks early and 6% under its $1.1M budget. I run hybrid-methodology programs (waterfall milestones for executive visibility, two-week sprints for delivery teams), and my status reporting has been adopted as the PMO template at my current company.

- Give two delivery proof points with the numbers that define the profession: on-time percentage, budget variance, timeline. 'Delivered successfully' is unfalsifiable; '6% under a $1.1M budget' is a record.
- Match your methodology language to their world (agile shop, waterfall enterprise, or hybrid) and say it plainly rather than listing every framework you've heard of.
- Treat the letter as a writing sample: four tight paragraphs, front-loaded, zero filler. PMs are hired to communicate; the letter is the first artifact.
- Name the type of project they run (ERP rollout, construction phase, product launch) and anchor your closest analogous delivery to it; relevance beats seniority in PM screening.
