- Name your systems precisely (NetSuite, SAP, QuickBooks, specific Excel depth); ERP experience is a hard screen, and migration experience is a premium keyword.
- Proofread beyond spelling: verify every number, date, and company name. In accounting letters, a numerical slip is a disqualifying irony.
- If you know something structural about the employer (a system migration, an acquisition, rapid growth), anchor your fit to it. Accountants who read the business, not just the ledger, interview better and letters can show that early.
