Cookie Policy

1. Overview
Cookies are small text files stored in your browser. Wynhire (wynhire.com) uses a deliberately small set of first-party cookies — listed exhaustively below — plus, only if you accept them, measurement cookies from Google. We do not use social media pixels, third-party analytics suites, or ad networks beyond what is listed here.
Your resume content is never stored in cookies and never shared through them.
2. Essential and functional cookies
These cookies are required for the site to work (remembering your consent choice, keeping you signed in) or measure usage anonymously without identifying you. They do not require consent.
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| mdf_consent | Remembers the cookie choice you made in the consent banner (accepted or declined), so we do not ask you again on every visit. | 6 months |
| mdf_consent_region | Remembers whether your visit comes from a region where prior consent is required (EEA, UK, Switzerland), so the consent banner is only shown where the law requires it. Contains only a region code, never your location. | 24 hours |
| mdf_session | Keeps you signed in to your account. Set only when you sign in. HttpOnly: not readable by scripts. | 30 days |
| mdf_fs | A random, anonymous session identifier used to measure which steps of the resume builder are used (first-party analytics). It contains no personal information and is not shared with anyone. | 30 days |
3. Advertising cookies (consent required)
These cookies are set only if you accept cookies in the consent banner. They let us know which ad campaign brought you here so we can measure our advertising. Declining them does not change anything about how the resume builder works.
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| mdf_attr_gclid, mdf_attr_gbraid, mdf_attr_wbraid | Store the Google Ads click identifier from the URL you arrived with, so a later purchase can be attributed to the ad you clicked. | 90 days |
| mdf_attr_utm_source, mdf_attr_utm_medium, mdf_attr_utm_campaign | Store the campaign parameters (UTM) from the URL you arrived with, for the same advertising measurement. | 90 days |
| _gcl_au, _gcl_aw, _gac_* (Google) | Set by the Google tag for Google Ads conversion measurement. The tag runs in Google Consent Mode: in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland these cookies are only set after you accept cookies; elsewhere they are set by default and are removed if you decline. | Set by Google (typically up to 90 days) |
4. Managing your choice
You can change your cookie choice at any time. If you decline, advertising cookies already set (including Google’s) are deleted immediately. Declining also serves as your “Do Not Sell or Share” opt-out under the California CCPA/CPRA — see our Privacy Policy.
You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking the essential cookies above may prevent parts of the site (such as staying signed in) from working.
