- Open with your state registration and PTCB certification. Pharmacy staffing ratios are set by law, and an unlicensed hire is a compliance problem the pharmacist cannot take on.
- State your daily script volume and setting (retail, hospital, mail order). A tech from a 350-script store and one from a 90-script store are different hires, and the manager needs to know which you are.
- Call out insurance rejection and prior authorization work specifically. It is the biggest workflow bottleneck in retail pharmacy and the skill managers struggle most to find.
- If you have your immunization certificate or sterile compounding experience (USP 797), name it; both change how the pharmacy can schedule you and are worth real money to the operation.
