  • State your registration and certification separately — "Registered Pharmacy Technician (Ohio)" and "CPhT (PTCB)" are different filters and many postings require both.
  • Use "CPhT" and "Certified Pharmacy Technician" at least once each; recruiter searches split roughly evenly between the two forms.
  • Name the dispensing systems and EHR modules you've touched (Pyxis, Parata, Epic Willow, RxConnect) — hospital postings filter on them specifically.
  • If you have sterile compounding experience, write "USP 797" explicitly. It's the single highest-value keyword for inpatient roles.
  • Include volume numbers (scripts per shift, IVs per day). Pharmacy managers translate volume directly into staffing math.
